The mighty British, built by Vickers, guns still stare menacingly out to sea. In their day they could have fired an armour piercing shell at a target over 20 miles away.
I had a wonderful day exploring (very literally - climbing up inside!) the old installation which has now been decommissioned.

The Guns of Cartagena
The mighty British, built by Vickers, guns still stare menacingly out to sea. In their day they could have fired an armour piercing shell at a target over 20 miles away.
I had a wonderful day exploring (very literally - climbing up inside!) the old installation which has now been decommissioned.
